Emerging African economies in particular are showing some promise for better than average Investment returns. I have dedicated this issue to providing some information about the ways Private Investment and needy Governments can come together through the use of Sovereign Guarantees and their International Correspondent Banks supporting those Guarantees with the issuance of a Direct Pay Letter of Credit. This funding involves the private sector as the "Developer" and allows for Governments to provide new infrastructure at a lesser cost than some of their traditional bond issuance activities.
